The used car retailer Uxin Group has announced the signing of a formal cooperation agreement with the Shaoxing Keqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone in Zhejiang province.
The partnership involves a joint investment to construct a Uxin warehouse and factory store in Shaoxing, with the total project investment planned at 5 billion yuan.
The first phase of construction will cover approximately 110,000 square meters, with a capacity to display and sell over 2,500 vehicles.
This facility will integrate a used car remanufacturing factory with a one-stop warehouse-style superstore.
Upon completion, it will provide a full-service chain encompassing vehicle maintenance, refurbishment, storage, display, sales, title transfer, and after-sales service.
As a key strategic foothold for Uxin in the core region of the Yangtze River Delta, the project will become Zhejiang's first comprehensive used car remanufacturing complex.
It will also serve to further enhance and solidify Uxin's strategic presence within the East China market.
Uxin Group stated that the launch of this Shaoxing project will effectively broaden the range of automotive consumption options available within Zhejiang province.
It is expected to improve the efficiency of regional used vehicle circulation and elevate service quality.
The initiative is also projected to stimulate collaborative development across the upstream and downstream industrial chain, including automotive remanufacturing and parts supply.
Overall, the project aims to inject fresh momentum into the high-quality development of the automotive aftermarket in the Yangtze River Delta region.
