On 25 June 2026, PuraPharm Corporation Limited reported that Prof. Tsui Lap Chee resigned as an independent non-executive director (INED) and stepped down from the audit, remuneration and nomination committees of the board, with immediate effect.

Prof. Tsui joined the board on 12 June 2015 and has served for more than nine years. His departure follows amendments to the Hong Kong Listing Rules effective 1 July 2025, which set new guidelines for long-serving INEDs. Citing corporate-governance considerations and board renewal, Prof. Tsui tendered his resignation.

The outgoing director confirmed he has no claims against the company, no disagreements with the board and no other matters requiring shareholder attention.

PuraPharm’s board expressed appreciation for Prof. Tsui’s contributions.

Following the change, the board comprises: • Executive directors – Chan Yu Ling, Abraham; Man Yee Wai, Viola; and Tsoi Kam Biu, Alvin. • Non-executive directors – Leung Stephen Kwok Keung and Dong Zimeng. • Independent non-executive directors – Hung Ting On, John; Leung Lim Kin, Simon; Lee Stephen; and Ng Wang Wai, Charles.
