AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. (AAC Tech) disclosed that it repurchased 200,000 ordinary shares on 2 October 2026 through on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The shares were bought at prices ranging between HKD 38.96 and HKD 39.40, resulting in a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 39.20 per share and a total outlay of HKD 7.84 million. All repurchased shares have been retained as treasury stock.
Following the transaction, AAC Tech’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 1.15 billion, down 0.02% from 1.15 billion on 30 September 2026. Treasury shares rose to 45.83 million, while the company’s overall issued share capital remains unchanged at 1.20 billion shares.
The buyback formed part of the mandate approved by shareholders on 21 May 2026, which authorises AAC Tech to repurchase up to 116.18 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 9.10 million shares, representing 0.78% of the company’s issued share base on the mandate date.
Pursuant to Hong Kong listing rules, AAC Tech is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 1 November 2026.
