Energean has restarted production at its Energean Power floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) unit offshore Israel. After receiving regulatory approval, the facility returned to normal production levels within 48 hours.

The company stated that it received notification from Israel's Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure permitting the safe resumption of operations. Subsequently, production was restored, and gas supplies to customers were resumed in accordance with contractual obligations.

The platform had been offline since February 28 due to security concerns following the outbreak of war between the U.S., Israel, and Iran.

The Energean Power FPSO is deployed at the Karish gas field, a significant offshore gas development project supplying the domestic Israeli market.

Energean indicated that it will update its 2026 production guidance at an appropriate time.

The Karish field, located offshore northern Israel, commenced production in 2022. Its 2P reserves contain approximately 99.96 billion cubic feet of natural gas and 40.9 million barrels of liquids.

Gas from the field is primarily sold to Israel's power generation sector under long-term contracts, with additional supplies going to industrial users. Liquid products are sold on the international market.
