PONY-W (02026) opened nearly 6% higher today. At the time of writing, the stock was up 5.88%, trading at HK$109.8 with a turnover of HK$15.6488 million. The surge follows an announcement on February 6 that PONY-W has entered into a strategic partnership with Moore Threads Technology Co.,Ltd. (688795.SH). The collaboration will focus on the implementation and large-scale application of Level 4 autonomous driving technology. The two companies will engage in deep cooperation centered on the core of PONY-W's technology—the training and optimization of its world model and virtual driver system—leveraging safe and reliable AI computing power to advance the iteration and commercial deployment of autonomous driving technology. This partnership represents a significant example of collaborative innovation within China's AI industry chain. It marks the first time PONY-W has applied domestic AI computing power on a large scale in critical training and simulation processes, and it also signifies the official entry of Moore Threads' fully functional domestic GPU into the core field of autonomous driving. According to details released, the two parties will utilize Moore Threads' MTT S5000 training-and-inference integrated AI computing card and the Kuae intelligent computing cluster to jointly advance the training, adaptation, and validation of PONY-W's world model and vehicle-side models. By building an autonomous driving computing ecosystem together, they aim to achieve full-chain coordination across "algorithm-data-computing-application," accelerating the maturity and cost optimization of L4 autonomous driving technology and providing solid support for the high-quality development of smart mobility and logistics industries.
