CHEUK NANG HOLD (HKEX: 00131) has announced that its board and audit committee received a resignation letter dated July 17, 2026, from Grant Thornton (Hong Kong) CPA Limited (Grant Thornton), the company's auditor. The resignation was effective immediately.

In the letter, Grant Thornton stated the resignation was due to the company's non-acceptance of the proposed audit fee arrangement. This arrangement included the company bearing the professional fees for Grant Thornton's experts incurred during the audit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.

Grant Thornton further confirmed in the resignation letter that, aside from the aforementioned matter, it was not aware of any issues requiring shareholders' attention.
