The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) inventory report also revealed the following changes for the past week: gasoline inventories increased by 223,000 barrels, compared to an estimate of a 2.55 million-barrel rise; distillate stockpiles grew by 329,000 barrels, against a forecast of a 250,000-barrel decrease. Cushing, Oklahoma, crude inventories declined by 278,000 barrels. Crude oil imports fell by 805,000 barrels per day. Crude oil production decreased by 36,000 barrels per day.
