With clients across Canada, BDO Canada's marketing team previously depended on manual data entry within its customer relationship management (CRM) system to maintain the accuracy of company and contact information, which was crucial for client planning and sales initiatives. However, as the business expanded, the manual process became inefficient and difficult to scale. The marketing operations team was spending an average of 8 hours every two weeks manually verifying, updating data, and inputting new information into the CRM. Data fragmentation often led to redundant work and potential gaps in prospect coverage.

Adrian Eadie, Marketing Operations Manager at BDO Canada, stated that the partnership with ZoomInfo has significantly improved the team's workflow. ZoomInfo's automated information updates have made the company's database more robust and accurate. This enables the sales team to achieve more comprehensive prospect coverage, set precise reminders, and follow up in a timely manner. Particularly during peak periods like tax season, the firm can now efficiently identify and prioritize high-value companies, supporting revenue growth.

By leveraging ZoomInfo, BDO Canada has also uncovered potential markets that were not identifiable through the manual process, optimized its customer relationship management, and established a unified data foundation for sales, marketing, and management teams. Data indicates that approximately 2,900 teams in Canada are already using ZoomInfo's intelligent go-to-market platform to find ideal customers.
