Hong Kong's Hang Seng Tech Index has extended its gains to over 2%, while the broader Hang Seng Index is currently up 0.35%.

Semiconductor and computing hardware stocks are leading the market higher. HUA HONG GRACE shares have surged nearly 20%, Cambridge Technology has jumped over 10%, and SMIC is up more than 9%.
