According to a preliminary results announcement released on 8 April 2026, CNGR Advanced Material Co., Ltd. expects a sharp year-on-year earnings increase for the period from 1 January to 31 March 2026.
Net profit attributable to shareholders is projected at RMB 530.00 million–590.00 million, compared with RMB 307.57 million a year earlier, translating into growth of 72.32%–91.82%. After excluding non-recurring items, profit is estimated at RMB 490.00 million–550.00 million versus RMB 263.06 million in the prior-year period, up 86.27%–109.08%.
Management links the improvement to two core factors:
1. Battery-materials momentum – Total sales of nickel-, cobalt-, phosphorus-, sodium- and other battery materials reached nearly 130,000 tonnes during the quarter, benefiting from robust global demand in the new-energy sector. 2. Integrated nickel operations – The company’s “Resources + Materials” model, coupled with higher nickel ore and product prices, lifted profitability at its nickel mining and smelting businesses.
The figures are unaudited and subject to change upon the release of the full first-quarter report. The board advises investors to exercise caution when interpreting the preliminary data.
