China Communications Services Corporation Limited (552.HK) convened an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 23 October 2025. The total number of issued shares stood at 6,926,018,400, with shareholders and authorized proxies holding 5,470,336,566 shares (78.98% of total voting shares) present at the meeting. The sole resolution—amending the Articles of Association and abolishing the Supervisory Committee—received 4,802,013,485 votes in favor (87.78%) versus 668,323,081 votes against (12.22%), achieving the two-thirds approval threshold required for a special resolution. As a result, the Supervisory Committee was officially dissolved, and its responsibilities transfer to the audit committee of the Board.
Following termination of the Supervisory Committee, the positions of its members (including Ms. Huang Xudan, Ms. Cai Manli, and Ms. Liu Lian) ended automatically after the EGM, with no matters requiring further disclosure. The company extended gratitude to the outgoing supervisors for their contributions during their tenures.
