The board of BAIC MOTOR (HKEX: 01958) has announced that Mr. Gu Tiemin will step down from his positions as a non-executive director and a member of the board remuneration committee due to a change in his work arrangements.

This change will take effect from the date the appointment of a new director is approved.

The board has put forward a proposal to appoint Mr. Xiao Jiajin as a non-executive director and further recommends his election as a member of the remuneration committee.

All terms of appointment are set to commence from the date of approval at the shareholders' meeting and will last until the conclusion of the fifth board of directors' term.
