China Weaving Materials Holdings Limited (3778) has issued a notice convening an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Friday, 7 November 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The meeting is set to take place at the Conference Room, 2nd Floor, the Office Building, Jinyuan Textile Company Limited, in Fengxin County, Jiangxi Province, the PRC.

The announcement details a proposed consolidation of every ten issued and unissued ordinary shares of HK$0.1 par value into one share of HK$1.0 par value. The plan, which is subject to and conditional upon certain fulfilment conditions, would result in no change to the total authorised share capital of HK$1,000,000,000 but would adjust the number of shares from 10,000,000,000 to 1,000,000,000. Any fractional entitlements arising from the consolidation are to be aggregated and handled at the discretion of the directors.

According to the announcement, the register of members will be closed from Friday, 31 October 2025, through Friday, 7 November 2025, during which period share transfers will not be processed. Shareholders intending to attend and vote at the EGM should complete any required transfer procedures before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, 30 October 2025.
