Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS said Thursday that second-quarter profit and revenue rose as subscriber numbers grew.
The Turkish telecoms company said quarterly net income increased to 1.86 billion Turkish lira ($103.6 million), from TRY1.11 billion in the same period last year.
Revenue rose 46% to TRY12.48 billion, as Turkcell Turkey added nearly 600,000 to its subscriber base in the three months to the end of June, reaching 40.6 million.
Ebitda rose 45% to TRY5.03 billion.
Turkcell now says it targets revenue growth above 40% for 2022 and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of around TRY20 billion.
