Steinhoff International Holdings NV said Wednesday that Mattress Firm has put its IPO process on hold owing to the continuing volatility in the market.
Steinhoff said that Mattress Firm--an associate investment of Steinhoff--withdrew its Form S-1 registration statement on Monday.
Mattress Firm continues to explore options and paths forward, including resuming the IPO once the markets are favorable, Steinhoff said.
Mattress Firm is a speciality retailer in the U.S, with more than 2,300 retail stores.
