OncoSec Medical Withdraws Planned Offering, Shares Rise Over 50%

Shares of OncoSec Medical Inc. were trading higher in Tuesday's after-hours market, following a filing from the company to withdraw a planned offering of stock and warrants.

After the bell Tuesday, OncoSec said it wanted to withdraw a Feb. 1 filing to offer 6,188,118 shares of common stock, 6,188,118 pre-funded warrants and 6,188,118 common warrants. OncoSec said it opted not to pursue the offering at this time.

At 5:59 p.m. EST, the company's shares had risen 51.85% to trade at $1.64 each. Volume at the time topped 1 million shares.

The stock finished the day's regular session with a 4.42% loss, closing at $1.08 each.
