Vitesse Energy Hires Whiting Petroleum CFO

Vitesse Energy has tapped the former chief financial officer of Whiting Petroleum to take over for its outgoing financial chief.

The oil and gas-focused investment company said Wednesday that David Macosko is transitioning out of the company on Thursday and will be succeeded by James Henderson.

Henderson has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas field and most recently served as executive vice president of finance and chief financial officer of Whiting Petroleum until that company closed its merger with Oasis Petroleum last year.
