Tremor International isn't currently in a sales process, the company said on Monday in response to press reports.
Earlier in the day, Sky News reported, citing banking sources, that advertising technology group Teads--which is owned by Altice Group--has held talks with the London-listed advertising group about a potential combination.
"The board continues to believe in the stand-alone prospects of the business, and also recognizes its fiduciary duties to its shareholders," Tremor said.
At 1539 GMT, Tremor shares are up 8 pence, or 5.1%, at 164 pence.
