Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Open Week on Flat Note

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts started the week flat Monday morning, nudging 0.005% higher to 1,959.42 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by game live-streaming platforms DouYu International (DOYU) and HUYA (HUYA), which rose 4.8% each. They were followed by electric vehicle maker NIO (NIO) and biotech firm BeiGene (BGNE), which added 4.7% and 4.2%, respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by mobile big data platform Aurora Mobile (JG), which declined 8.3%, while diagnostic imaging centers company Concord Medical Services (CCM) lost 5.7%. They were followed by online education platform 51Talk Online Education Group (COE) and online game developer Gravity (GRVY), which retreated 5.6% and 4.5%, respectively.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by biotech firm ASLAN Pharmaceuticals (ASLN), which climbed 6.7%, then IT firm Sify Technologies (SIFY) added 4%. IT firm Wipro (WIT) rose 1.2%, while business process management company WNS (WNS) added 1.1%.

The only decliners from South Asia were tech conglomerate Sea (SE) and pharmaceutical firm Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY), which lost 4.3% and 0.6%, respectively.
