Huatai Securities (SHA:601688, HKG:6886) completed the disposal of all of its holdings in US-based AssetMark Financial Holdings to private equity firm GTCR Everest Borrower, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The stake was sold for $1.79 billion, the disclosure said.

Shares of the company rose less than 3% on the Shanghai bourse.
