LG Electronics (KRX:066570) acquired a stake in London-based Mo-Sys Engineering, a developer of virtual production solutions and camera robotics, the South Korean electronics products maker said Monday.

The move is expected to allow LG to offer more advanced hardware and software services, the release said.

The financial aspects of the strategic seed investment and partnership were undisclosed.

Shares of LG Electronics fell over 1% at market close on Tuesday.
