Sugi Holdings' August All Store Sales Grow Over 13%
Sugi Holdings' (TYO:7649) all stores and existing store sales grew year on year by 13.2% and 7.4%, respectively, in August, according to its filing Tuesday.
Customer traffic at all stores and existing stores expanded 8.6% and 1.9%, respectively.
The pharmaceutical chain group said average spending per customer at all stores and existing stores rose 4.2% and 5.4% on year, respectively, during the month.
On an all-store basis, sales increase of the Sugi Pharmacy Business grew by 13.6%, while Japan Business gained 7.0%.
On an existing store basis, the sales increase of Sugi Pharmacy Business was 7.4%, while Japan Business rose 7.7%.
The Sugi Group opened 10 new stores and closed 3 stores in July, bringing its total number of stores to 1,771.
Sugi Holdings' shares lost over 1% in morning trade Wednesday.
