Universal Entertainment Completes Early Redemption of Overseas Bonds

Universal Entertainment (TYO:6425) has refinanced the early redemption of its overseas privately placed notes due in December, which had an unredeemed face amount of $760 million, according to its filing on Friday.

The early redemption was completed on Sept. 4.

The principal amount redeemed includes $482 million from notes issued in 2020, $135 million from additional notes issued in 2020, and $143 million from additional notes issued in July 2021, totaling $760 million.

The redemption price was 108.75% of the principal amount, with accrued interest of $20.173286 per $1,000, bringing the total redemption amount to $826.5 million.
