Zhejiang Jiemei Electronic and Technology (SHE:002859) agreed to invest 119.94 billion yuan in the construction of the Jiangxi Jiemei paper carrier production project.

The project will have an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons of paper carriers, according to a Friday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

The construction period is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

Shares of the electronic components manufacturer closed 2% lower Friday.
