Chinese life science company Chempartner Pharmatech (SHE:300149) partnered with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Pharma Medical for the development of innovative drugs, according to a Thursday disclosure on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

Under the two-year agreement, the parties will establish a laboratory for the research, the disclosure said.

Shares of the company jumped more than 4% in recent trade.
