Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Arm to Sell 40% Stake in BJCE Australia for Over AU$183 Million

Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy's (HKG:0579) subsidiary Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy (Hong Kong) agreed to dispose of 40% equity interest in Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy (Australia) to Beijing Energy International (Australia) for AU$183 million plus any adjustment amount on Aug. 20, a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

The company may use the proceeds from the disposal to pay off its existing debts, the filing said.
