Central Garden & Pet Appoints Niko Lahanas Chief Executuve

Central Garden & Pet Company said that Fiance Chief Niko Lahanas has been appointed chief executive, and Brad Smith has been promoted to CFO, effective Sunday.

The company said Lahanas will also join its board of directors.

Lahanas succeeds Beth Springer, who has served as interim CEO since October 2023. Springer will return to the role of lead independent director.
