DHL Express's U.S. account holders will need to pay an average of about 6% more in shipping fees starting next year.
DHL Express, the international express services provider, adjusted its prices for the upcoming year, including a number of services and surcharges, to keep up with inflation and currency fluctuations, it said Friday.
This will result in a general average shipment price increase for U.S. account holders of about 5.9% and will take effect on Jan. 1.
"Prices are adjusted on an annual basis by DHL Express, taking into consideration inflation and currency dynamics as well as administrative costs related to regulatory and security measures," the company said.
