Zhejiang Jinggong Integration Technology (SHE:002006), through unit Seiko Carbon Materials, plans to construct a high-performance fiber factory for 669.2 million yuan, according to a Monday filing on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The factory will be located in Hangzhou Bay Shangyu Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, China, the filing said.
The factory will produce 5,000 tons of fiber every year. The construction is expected to run within 10 months and its operation will begin in June 2025, the Chinese equipment manufacturer said.
Shares of the company jumped 10% in recent trade.
