Regener8 Resources (ASX:R8R) encountered a nickel-copper prospective zone based on a review of historical data at the East Ponton project in Western Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The review identified the project's Hatlifter prospect may be the same nickel-copper hosting paleochannel network that feeds into an established prospect owned by a neighboring miner, the filing said.
Company shares rose 5% in recent Friday trade.
