Trek 2000 International's (SGX:5AB) wholly owned subsidiary, Trek Technology, entered into a share subscription agreement with China Chips Star Semiconductors (CCSS) to acquire a 20% stake in CCSS for a consideration of $1.6 million, a filing with the Singapore Exchange said on Wednesday.

The transaction is expected to be completed in December, subject to regulatory approvals.
