Balkan Mining and Minerals (ASX:BMM) is set to start work programs across its minerals portfolio following a review and re-prioritization of exploration projects, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

Exploration activities at its Canadian assets, Barbara Lake, Tango, and Georgia Lake, will begin in October, with potential expansion to other sites based on weather conditions, the filing said.

Shares fell 7% in recent trade.
