Marmota (ASX:MEU) is set to expand its first drilling program at Campfire Bore gold discovery in South Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

Drilling will be carried out over two stages, with the first stage now complete, the filing said.

The second stage will begin once stage one assay results are received in December, according to the filing.

Marmota shares rose 8% in afternoon trading.
