U.S. refiner Delek US Holdings' 83,000 b/d Krotz Springs, La., refinery is undergoing a maintenance turnaround that is expected to be completed by late November, Joseph Israel, the company's executive vice president for operations, said on Monday.

Work at the facility began in mid-October and is expected to last for six weeks, Israel said in an email.

He said some units will start "scaling back" after the third week of the maintenance work, but did not provide details.

The Krotz Spring refinery produces gasoline, jet fuel, high-sulfur diesel, naphtha, LPG among other refined products. The facility about 40 miles west of Baton Rouge transports products by barge, truck, rail, and pipeline.

The company operates four U.S. refineries as well as logistics, fuel and convenience stores and renewables.
