Haitong Securities' (HKG:6837, SHA:600837) net loss attributable to shareholders narrowed 403.05% on year to 1.61 billion yuan for the third quarter of the year, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

Loss per share narrowed 400% on year to 0.12 yuan for the three months ended Sept. 30, the filing said.

The securities and investments company's operating income for the quarter was 4.03 billion yuan, 28.03% lower than a year ago.
