Armstrong World Industries (AWI) reported Q3 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $1.81 per diluted share, up from $1.60 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.75.
Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $386.6 million, up from $347.3 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $386.7 million.
For 2024, the ceiling and wall manufacturer said it now expects adjusted EPS of $6.15 to $6.25 from the prior outlook of $6 to $6.15. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $6.09.
Meanwhile, revenue for the year is still projected to be in the range of about $1.42 billion to about $1.44 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $1.43 billion.
