Nov 5 (Reuters) - Premier Inn owner Whitbread WTB.L has kicked off the search for chairman Adam Crozier's successor, Sky News reported on Tuesday.
Crozier, who has chaired the company since 2018, is expected to step down in the next 12 months, although he would not be "timed out" from the role until 2026 under corporate governance guidelines, the report added.
The London-listed company is working with Russell Reynolds Associates to find a replacement for Crozier, Sky News reported.
Whitbread did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment, while Russell Reynolds Associates could not be reached.
Boardroom veteran Crozier has previously served as chief executive of British broadcaster ITV ITV.L, where he was credited with restoring the company's fortunes by expanding its production business.
He also spent seven years at International Distribution Services-owned IDSI.L Royal Mail, restructuring the postal business in the face of opposition from unions. Prior to that, he had led the English Football Association $(FA)$.
