Mt Malcolm Mines (ASX:M2M) found visible gold from a bulk sampling program conducted at the Golden Crown prospect, part of the Malcolm project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The mining firm is continuing excavation activities at targeted high-grade areas at Golden Crown, the filing said.

Shares jumped almost 9% at market close.
