China Vanadium Titano-Magnetite Mining (HKG:0893) subsidiary Aba Mining sought to restore operations at the Maoling-Yanglongshan mine, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.

The mine was ordered closed following the death of a miner back in July, the filing said.

The company has set up a committee to oversee safety measures, conducted safety assessments and training, and set up an emergency response team, the filing said.

Aba Mining expects to gradually resume operations once government authorities grant clearance, the filing said.
