Future Bright (HKG:0703) expects an attributable profit of around HK$6.8 million for the third quarter of 2024, down 35% from HK$10.4 million a year prior, a Monday bourse filing said.

Attributable profit for the nine months ended Sept. 30 is also expected to fall by 79% to HK$7.3 million from HK$34.7 million in the year-ago period.

The food and beverage retailer attributed the drop in attributable profit for the nine months mainly to a lower turnover.

Shares of the company closed nearly 6% lower on Monday.
