Hanison Construction (HKG:0896) recorded a loss of HK$193.1 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, wider than the HK$108.1 million loss logged for the corresponding period last year, a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
Loss per share for the reporting period stood at HK$0.180 for the reporting period, as compared with HK$0.099 recorded for the year-ago period.
The construction engineering company's revenue for the six months was HK$984.3 million, 49.2% higher than HK$659.8 million booked a year ago. The company attributed the increase to its construction division.
The board decided not to recommend an interim dividend for the reporting period as compared with HK$0.01 per share from last year's period.
