Emperor International Holdings (HKG:0163) expects to record a net loss of up to HK$3.7 billion for the six months ended Sept. 30, compared with HK$760 million in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The company attributed the higher loss to the fair value loss on the investment properties of about HK$900 million compared with HK$460 million in the previous year period and a loss from the discontinued operation of about HK$2.50 billion during the reporting period.
The company plans to publish its interim results later in November.
