Larvotto Resources (ASX:LRV) secured approval to join the Defense Industrial Base Consortium, a US Department of Defense-funded initiative, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The consortium is focused on research and commercialization of technologies necessary for the defense department, the filing said. It will allow the mining firm access to a collaboration database used to search for capabilities and partnership interests.
