Sunpower Group (SGX:5GD) booked a loss attributable to equity holders of 21.5 million yuan in the third quarter of the year, compared with a profit attributable of 84.9 million yuan a year earlier, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.
Loss per share came in at 0.0271 yuan compared with earnings per share of 0.085 in the year-ago period.
The industrial power solutions provider's revenue was down nearly 3% year over year to 749.3 million yuan from 771.8 million yuan in the year-ago period, mainly due to a reduction in electricity sales.
