SIA Engineering (SGX:S590) signed a non-binding framework agreement to explore investing in Xiamen Iport Group subsidiary Arport Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering (Fujian), a provider of line maintenance and ground services in airports in Fujian, China.

Under the agreement, the parties will work towards finalizing and signing definitive agreements, subject to meeting regulatory requirements and obtaining necessary approvals, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
