Westpac Banking (ASX:WBC, NZE:WBC) will add 50 new members to its fraud and scam operations team and introduce a reporting feature on its app, the financial services company said in a statement Sunday.

The new hires will join the team of 500 people assisting customers affected by fraud or scams, the bank said. The reporting feature, meanwhile, will allow customers to report a scam, fraud, or mistaken payment through the app.
