Beacon Minerals (ASX:BCN) updated the mineral resource estimate for the Iguana deposit in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The deposit's resource is estimated to stand at 17 million tonnes of material at 1.1 grams per tonne grade of gold for 609,000 gold contained ounces, the filing said.

Shares of Beacon Minerals rose almost 5% in recent Monday trade.
