C3 AI (AI) shares surged past 22% in recent Tuesday trading after the company and Microsoft (MSFT) disclosed their alliance for the adoption of Enterprise AI on Microsoft Azure.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Under the terms, C3 AI's C3 Generative AI will be available on Microsoft Commercial Cloud Portal, while all C3 AI Enterprise artificial intelligence services will be rolled out throughout Azure sales channels for joint clients, the companies added.

Clients will be able to also order C3 AI Enterprise AI applications on the Azure Marketplace, the parties said.
