SciDev (ASX:SDV) secured the first commercial order for its treatment system for synthetic chemicals known as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances in Europe, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The AU$475,000 contract from Swedish Hydro Solutions involves the design, construction, and commissioning of a water treatment plant, with a potential for a second phase extension, the filing said.

The environmental technology company's shares fell almost 4% in afternoon trade Thursday.
