Trimble (TRMB) said Thursday it has been contracted by Performance Food Group (PFGC) to provide management services for 100% of its fleet to double the number of trucks using its in-cab technology from 4,000 to more than 8,000.

Financial details weren't provided.

Trimble said it will provide fleet management tools to vehicles in all three of Performance Food Group's business segments and equip them all with Trimble Instinct in-cab communications system that connects drivers and office staff.

Performance Food Group has been a Trimble customer for more than two decades, the company said.
